Aures Moussong
Music Composer
Aurés Moussong is a Mexican-Hungarian composer. He obtained his Master’s degree from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Universität der Künste Berlin through the Erasmus program. He later completed a two-year postgraduate specialization in composition with Daniel D’Adamo at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. Recently, he studied composition with Swiss composer Dieter Ammann at the Hochschule Luzern – Musik.
Some of his works have been recognized with international awards, including the Ibermúsicas 2021 Prize, the Second Prize at the CHINA-CEEC Chamber Music Academies Competition in Hangzhou, China, and First Prizes at the Egidio Carella Composition Competition in Italy and the WoCe Competition organized by the Hungarian Composers Association. His work Dialogue à quatre premiered at the 2023 Musica Festival in Strasbourg, and he was a finalist at the Basel Composition Competition with Macabre Carnaval.
He is currently based in Lyon, France.
